They can also help with learning, behaviour and social skills.

When should I see them?

  • You are worrying a lot, feeling sad a lot, getting angry a lot
  • You are having trouble with your relationships
  • You want help with learning social skills or changing your behaviour
  • You have trouble with learning and getting ahead with your education and work goals.

What services do they provide?

When you feel upset it can be difficult to talk to people in your family, so a psychologist may help you talk about your feelings. They will listen to you, and try to understand how you feel. They can give advice on how to make things better.

They can assess your education and developmental needs and provide you with support to help with learning, or a behaviour or social skills.
