Physio’s (for short) help improve movement, or help an injury get better.

When should I see them?

  • You have difficulty with your balance or walking, sitting or lying down comfortably
  • You have a weak, painful, stiff or injured part of your body
  • You want to improve your overall fitness and energy levels.

What services do they provide?

They will look at how you move about, sit down and lay down and come up with a plan on how to help you, for example:

  • Show you exercises to help you get stronger and more flexible, stay mobile, get fitter, or recover from an injury
  • Treat any painful joints or muscles using exercise, massage or heat/ice
  • Advice about how to sit or lie down comfortably, or help you get a special chair or bed
  • Advice about equipment for your home
  • Get equipment to help you walk, or help you get a suitable wheelchair.
