Purpose
The purpose of the PBS Capability Framework is to: Define the principles and values base of PBS; Define the key capability domains of best practice PBS in the NDIS context that is personcentred and rights-based; Embed a clear commitment to the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices and a focus on proactive practice; Maintain and develop the existing workforce by providing a framework for capability development and career progression; Outline expectations for supervision and continuing professional development within the behaviour support context.
