Purpose
The aim of the training aid is to help occupational therapy students develop skills in referral prioritisation in the field of community mental health.
Learning
The tool has been shown to be effective in improving referral prioritisation capacity of Occupational Therapy Students (Harries et al 2012).
Additional Information
Training takes about 40 minutes to complete. The training presents a set of referrals which participants are asked to prioritise. Training information is then provided which explains how experienced occupational therapists do this task. Another smaller set of referrals are presented which participants are asked to prioritise. However, for the second set participants can refer back to the training information. Participants can access a pdf of their results.
