Purpose
Assist practitioners in the Victorian child and family system to work collaboratively with the NDIS planners, support coordinators, local area coordinators and Early Childhood Early Intervention partners. The guide will support the best possible outcomes for vulnerable families with disability and contains information to support your work with families with disability and your interface with the NDIS.
The eLearning modules will help build your skills and confidence in working with families experiencing a disability and working with the NDIS funded sector.
Additional Information
The modules are interactive and each takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
It is noted that, “The guidelines were prepared at a time of significant change. The NDIS is rolling out rapidly throughout Victoria. There are areas of policy that have yet to be fully tested and resolved with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). As positions on specific policy areas are determined, these guidelines will be updated to reflect any changes. For this reason it is recommended these guidelines are consulted regularly.”
