Purpose

e-mental health in practice (eMHPrac) is a suite of online training modules, webinars and e-resources designed to introduce health professionals to online programs and tools, and to demonstrate how e-mental health technologies can be integrated into primary care.

The eMHPrac modules aim to give health professionals confidence in prescribing evidence-based e-mental health resources.

The Psychological Toolkit includes questionnaires to assist health professionals in the assessment of depression, charts to assist with treatment protocols, tools for self-monitoring, and exercises for patients.

Additional Information

The Mood Assessment Program (MAP) is still advertised on the website, but is now being run from here (requires registration to access). The MAP is a computerised assessment tool to assist health care providers in the clinical assessment and management of people with depression and bipolar disorder. The MAP program is not by itself capable of giving a precise diagnosis, does not replace clinical assessment and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. By completing the MAP, information is provided to the referring health care provider to assist them in formulating a treatment plan.
